My name is Amy! Nice to meet you :)
After few weeks (months?) I´m writing my very first -let´s say- article. It was hard for me to think up any name of my blog plus web address and now, and even the hardest thing was to know, what I want to write about. Many of my friends have a blog and I love to read them, so one day, I just though-having a blog couldn´t be such a bad idea... but you should have any clue, what you wanna write there!
I should introduce myself a bit!
So yeah, my name is Amy, I´m super old. Haha. I´ve just turned 17. I´m pretty social girl, who loves fun, excitement, adventures and most-surprises. Maybe that´s why I love God that much. He always has some surprise for me :) My hobbies are English, so many random activities and Young life. Young life is non-profit organisation, which makes a program for teenagers and shows them a bit from Christianity. I have most of my friends from here and the only thing I can say about them- I´ve never met cooler people than they are! You should meet them one day! :)
One of my biggest passion is traveling. Actually my parents brought me to this. They gave me an opportunity to see many beautiful places in the world. My most favorite place in the world is Australia. I would love to visit that place at least once again! You should see the beauty of their nature! If I should say any place in the world, where I want to live one day-Australia, that´s the place. Have big family-husband, two children-, house and from windows view of kangaroos and sea. :)
What am I afraid of? Very simple question with funny answer- future. About that later.
Let´s start real blogging.
I mentioned a word- future. What are my plans for the closest future? Month ago I was applied as an exchange student in Amicus program. It´s a program in Young life, you study in Unites States for a year at high school, live with family- but not yours, of course- and live a normal life. This program, meaning a friend, made me realize, that´s what I really want in my life, what I really desire for. I´ve always loved getting to know strange and foreign places wherever in the world, be alone somewhere and enjoy it. And have this for a whole year? "I had to do it!"-that was my first reaction, when I heard about that for the first time. My parents always supported me with things like that, so it made situation even easier. But It actually took some time to get enough courage and sing up. After my experience with month spent in US as a work crew at Saranac, YL camp, I was totally sure and comfortable with the fact, that I wanna leave my friends, family and everything I was used to for 17years and travel away over the "pond". I filled up about 6papers of questions, facts about myself, asked my doctor and teachers to answer questions about my physical and psychical condition and I gave all papers to my leader, who sent it. Two moths after I received an email, where director of Amicus congratulates me for being accepted. Before reading that email my friend Peter called and wanted to let me know, that he´s in! He didn´t sound very excited, but I felt super happy for him! It was his as big dream to visit US as my dream being an exchange student. But when I read my email, I felt the same way as Peter did. The though of leaving people I love, the food I can´t live without, the Ostrava which sometimes smells very bad but still you spent there most of your present life and THE everything. I´m at start again. The feeling before sending the application... Nowadays I´m happy about knowing that I´m going to live my (not very easy) dream in few months, but also I´m trying to not think about it very much, cause it would cause my too relaxed attitude toward school&problems in general.
